Welcome to 2018!

Wishing all a healthy, happy and wonderful 2018!

We here at Brooklyn Whatever are excited to be stepping into the new year with new products and more importantly, confidence in our signature products.

My son Abe and I began this business just a couple years ago to fill a need in the pickle world that we noticed missing.

What is that you may ask?

Well, for starters its pickling vegetables without any sugar whatsoever. You be amazed to learn how many companies use sugar in their pickles. Read you labels my friends!  Additionally our Shpickles do not have any preservatives, any additives, artificial ingredients, dairy, soy, or coloring.  Also, they are made with non-gmo distilled white vinegar, and finally they are made with all kosher ingredients and are Certified Vegan.

We do not pickle cucumbers, enough pickle companies do that! rather we choose to pickles vegetables that are filled with vitamins and good stuff for you and your body.

We pickle brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower with a hint of beets, jalapeno's, Okra, carrots and String beans.  Shpickles!

What's a Shpickle you may ask?  Well, simply its a pickle that is not a cucumber! And it does not have any dill.

The benefits to our pickles are obvious, but what you may not know is that the brine is actually more beneficial health wise than the actual vegetable once pickled.

Let me explain. Lets' use the Broccoli as an example.  We use fresh, firm Broccoli.  They are hand cut and placed in the jar with spices and garlic.  Then the brine is added.  Our brine is not overly salty, it is just right!

Then the jars sit for about 5 or 6 days allowing the brine to "pickle" the vegetable.  This is the moment the vegetable turns into a pickle.

Remember, the word Pickle is a verb, not a thing!

That process extracts some of the vitamins from the vegetable into the brine, and in turn the brine again infuses the vegetable.

So, the juicier the bite the more vitamins and minerals you will receive.

Good for your gut, very low calorie, sugar free and absolutely delicious.

We are very proud of this amazing product and offer it to you in good health.  We always love to hear how you use them, feel free to drop me a line anytime to rachel@brooklynwhatever.com with any comments or questions.

in good health,

Rachel

I have celiac disease and someone gave me a jar of SHPICKLES —Kale-with the expiration date of 9/2017. I have not opened the jar yet. Will it be Ok to eat. Should I have any concerns about the product since it is a few months beyond the expiration.
Thanks! Looking forward to trying your product. Sharon Scherer
